Linktree alternatives for a business, free and paid

A link-in-bio page sends people from your social profile to the right place. Linktree does this well. A page on your own website, Carrd or Beacons can do it too, sometimes for less.

A link-in-bio page sends people from your social profile to the right place: your shop, your booking page, your latest offer. Linktree is the best-known tool for this, and it has a free plan. For a business, a page on your own website, Carrd or Beacons can do the same job, sometimes for less and with your own domain.

All facts below come from each vendor's own pricing page, as of October 2026. Prices are in US dollars. Linktree says its prices vary by region.

What Linktree offers today

The Linktree pricing page lists:

  • Free: $0. Unlimited basic links and email and phone sign-ups.
  • Starter: $6 a month billed annually, or $8 billed monthly. Adds a personalized page and basic analytics.
  • Pro: $12 a month billed annually, or $15 billed monthly. Removes Linktree branding, adds custom designs and selling with 0% fees, with a note that transaction and processing fees may apply. 7-day free trial.
  • Premium: $30 a month billed annually, or $35 billed monthly. Adds link rules, all-time analytics and social media scheduling.

The short version

  • A page on your own website: free if you already have a site, and visitors stay on your domain.
  • Carrd: a simple one-page site, free for up to three sites, with low yearly prices for your own domain.
  • Beacons: a free plan with selling and email tools, if you sell digital products from your profile.
  • Linktree: stay if the free plan covers you, or if you want its analytics and scheduling tools.

A page on your own website

If you already have a website, this is often the simplest choice. Make a page such as yourbusiness.com/links. Add a short line about what you do and 4 to 6 buttons to your most useful pages. Put that address in your social bio.

Suits you if you have a site on Wix, Squarespace, WordPress or similar and want visitors on your own domain. Less of a fit if you have no website yet. To choose one, see Wix vs Squarespace or WordPress vs Wix.

Carrd

Carrd builds simple one-page sites. Its home page says you can build up to three sites per account for free. The Carrd Pro page lists yearly plans:

  • Pro Lite: $9 a year. 3 sites, no Carrd branding, no custom domain.
  • Pro Standard: $19 a year. 10 sites, custom domains and forms.
  • Pro Plus: $49 a year. 25 sites, custom domains and advanced forms.

Carrd offers a 7-day Pro trial with no payment method.

Suits you if you want a clean single page on your own domain for a low yearly price. Less of a fit if you want built-in selling and email tools.

Beacons

The Beacons plans page lists:

  • Free: $0. Link in bio, a media kit, digital product sales and 50 email sends a month. 9% fee on sales.
  • Creator: $10 a month, or $100 a year. 9% fee on sales.
  • Creator Plus: $30 a month, or $300 a year. 0% transaction fee and a free custom domain.

Payment processor fees are separate.

Suits you if you sell digital products or run a creator-style business from social media. Less of a fit if you only need a few links and no selling tools.

What to put on the page

The tool matters less than the links you choose. Keep the page short.

A simple link page for a small business

Business name. One line on what you do and who it is for.

  • Book a call (or Shop now)
  • Our latest offer
  • Reviews from customers
  • Contact us
  • Opening hours and location

Put the most important link first. Remove links nobody clicks. Check every link once a month.

How to decide

  1. Check what you already pay for. If your website builder can add a page, start there.
  2. Decide if you sell from the page. If yes, compare the fees on each plan.
  3. Decide if your own domain matters to you. If it does, check which plan includes it.
  4. Try the free plan first. Upgrade only when a limit gets in your way.

Your bio and link page work together. For words that fit, see Instagram captions for small business and how to build an email list.

Questions people ask

Is there a free alternative to Linktree?

Yes. A simple page on your own website costs nothing extra. Carrd lets you build up to three sites for free, and Beacons has a free plan. Linktree itself also has a free plan.

Can I use my own domain for a link-in-bio page?

On your own website, yes. As of October 2026, Carrd includes custom domains from Pro Standard at $19 a year, and Beacons from Creator Plus at $30 a month.

Does Linktree charge fees on sales?

Linktree lists selling with 0% fees on its Pro plan and says transaction and processing fees may apply. Beacons charges 9% on sales on its Free and Creator plans.

Why use a page on my own website instead?

Visitors land on your domain, you control the design, and you pay nothing extra if you already have a site. It also keeps people one click from the rest of your site.
